It has taken till the end of the month to see any 'flaming' in June - but summer may be here at last judging by my red arms! Rhapsody and I have done a couple more training competitions since last month with good results especially as one was a trial run through of our new freestyle routine courtesy of Pachesham Equestrian Centre who were running an unaffiliated dressage to music show and agreed to allow me and Bo Chan (Hong Kong) to run through our para freestyles!
This last weekend in June has been spent with Andrew Murphy again - a two day training camp before we leave to Hartpury Festival of Dressage on the 1st July for the CPEDI3*. I am so excited and looking forward to the week ahead - the first para competition since London and a chance to test just how much progress we have made since last year - and just maybe with less pressure than I have had at this venue in previous years as well... so am going with the plan to thoroughly enjoy the show, enjoy riding Rhapsody in a big competition again - and of course enjoy the invaluable luxury of having Andrew there helping with our preparations and warm ups... tastes of last summer for sure! Will be posting updates - subject to having internet connection - never very clever in that part of the country - on FB as well as the website - with some pics!
