Brodie was a star in Belgium trying his little heart out for the U S Virgin Islands at the 3*CPEDI against the top riders and horses in the world. His exuberance for life however meant that when he came back home for a 'short break' antics in the field left him injured and unfortunately for me - but maybe his idea of heaven - is now in a field - fat, woolly and trying to eat himself into the Guinness Book of Records! And so in 2011 the search began for another star to bring on with London 2012 in mind - to work alongside Brodie when he returns to fitness and then who knows - I hope you will watch this space...
August 2012 - Brodie is still in the field with his mates and looking very fat - and very happy! When Steve Brooks came to give him his vaccination we trotted him up and he was just - very slightly - not 100% on a circle so the decision was made to give him longer to recover. Brodie has made everything possible and I would not be in the position I am in right now if it was not for him - for that he has my undying gratitude and he therefore does not owe me anything - on the contrary - I owe it all to him!!
