Andrew J Murphy on Rhapsody
There has not been a minute to lose during June and we have kept up a very busy training schedule which has included, thanks to the support of TR Fastenings and their training grant, a two day TTT clinic at The Unicorn Trust, Stow, followed by another two sessions with Andrew in Oxford. We topped off our intensive training by competing in 2 classes at our first show together and we were encouraged by Rhapsody & I winning both! Early days but we are both getting to know and trust each other.
Preparations are well under way for our Caribbean themed Champagne Reception at the end of June when I will be introducing Rhapsody to friends, supporters and sponsors who will be joining us on a hopefully warm and sunny - or at least dry - evening when we will give a demonstration of our freestyle to music routine just before heading off to Hartpury 3* International the following week. Rhapsody has only been with me a month - and it is 2 months before we head into Greenwich so I will be aiming to keep up the momentum with our training and competition schedules!
