Gill Maybury Chiropractor came to help me - not in her professional capacity this time but to film my tests for training purposes which I was very grateful for ( a clip is on Facebook) I usually go to local competitions on my own and her support was a real bonus. I was surprised really at just how much more relaxed I was having someone to talk to during my warm up etc. This is all great preparation for our first international - and the cherry on top will be added over the Easter weekend with a visit to train again with Andrew J Murphy! Looking forward to that!!
It is generally about now that I start feeling under a bit of strain with the planning and paperwork for our travels but this time I am feeling more relaxed knowing that my delivery of feed from sponsors Simple System Horse Feeds has arrived with their great range of feeds that Rhapsody loves... Lucie Nuts, Red Bag Grass Pellets and Green Gold - completing the order with their new product Summer Salt which will be great to combat any dehydration during travel and increased work for Rhaps.
Also - thanks to new sponsors Fly Away Ltd and Groom Away Ltd - I have received a host of great products - old and new - to keep Rhapsody looking great... all with 100% natural product!s! Citronella Body Wash, Fly Free Zone, Mud Repeller, Healthy Hoof Conditioning Cream and many more! More about those coming soon... and also on my Facebook page.
So... all that needs to be done is book the ferry! Oh... and get the health papers done with thanks to Stephen Brooks Equine Practice who is already booked and has recently merged with GVG Equine and is now known as GVG Brooks! A great development for all concerned - especially their clients with an even greater team to look after our horses and ponies!!
Thanks to all for all your support and fingers crossed for a stonking show in Belgium!! (Trying not to mention the 'R' word!)
And not forgetting - the clocks have gone forward... spring is here - halle-bloody-lujah!!
